Squirt boats came around in the early 80s, They lead the way for freestyle boats as we now today. Squirt boats were cartwheeling around on flat water way before the plastic boats caught on. Their defining move is the mystery move where the boat and paddler disapear under water.

Also make river running more interesting opening up more places to play every feature, eddyline, wave, hole etc.

These boats are very low volume and float just on or under the surface of the water.

Squirt boats are not recommended for beginners as they are not the easiest boats to get out of in a hurry mainly because they are so tight and have a block of foam between your knees to stop the deck compressing when you get down time the problem is that you can not swim without removing the block first hence its nickname a "suicide block"
